About Us
The Scientific Association for Obesity - OBEM Skopje is an autonomous, independent and non-governmental organization, which voluntarily includes experts such as endocrinologists, cardiologists, gastrohepatologists, nutritionists, bariatric surgeons, psychologists, psychiatrists, family medicine physicians, as well as profiles from related scientific and professional activities to advance scientific thought in obesity.

Ass. Prof. Irfan Ahmeti
President
He is the current director of the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders, Skopje. He is the Vice President of the Scientific Society of Endocrinologists and Diabetologists of Macedonia. He is a Doctor of Medical Sciences in the field of endocrinology – diabetology.
Prof. Dr. Tatjana Milenkovic
President of Scientific Board
Tatjana Milenkovic is a professor of internal medicine at the University of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Faculty of Medicine in Skopje, Macedonia. She has been working at the Clinic for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases since 1985. President of the Scientific Association of Endocrinologists and Diabetologists of Macedonia.

Former Medical Director of the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders in Skopje. He completed his studies at the Hacıtepe Medical Faculty in Ankara in 1999.

Sasha Jovanovska Mishevska

Sasha Jovanovska Mishevska is a specialist in internal medicine, a subspecialist in endocrinology, and was the medical director of the University Clinic for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders in Skopje until 2023. She has had a PhD in the field of endocrinology since 2017 and is currently an associate professor of internal medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje.

Assistant Dr. Biljana Todorova is an internist-endocrinologist, employed at the PHI Clinic for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolic Disorders in Skopje since 2009. She has been a specialist internist since 2014. Since 2021 she has been a subspecialist, endocrinologist.
